Edward Malone- CEO, President
BS Industrial Technology, University of Southern Mississippi
Edward has been affiliated with the construction industry since he received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1970. He has over 30 years experience in the environmental construction industry. From 1974 from 1979 he was Production Manager and later became Plant Manager for Frigitemp Marine, Inc. In 1980 he moved to Alabama where he worked for Great Barrier Insulation Company as Division Manager. There he managed operations of the industrial and commercial insulation division. Then, in 1985 he became a partner in an environmental construction company. By 1988 he became sole proprietor of EME, Inc.
Dean Malone- Chairwoman, Corporate Secretary
Dean has been associated with EME since its opening in 1988. Dean was comptroller for several years for EME. She started a worker training program for asbestos workers in 1990. She was one of the training instructors for this endeavor. Over the years she has performed many duties from accounting to administrative support. She is currently 51% owner and is involved in all management decisions.
James Hamm- Vice President of Operations
James brings over 25 years of experience to EME. From 1979 to 1988 he served as Insulation Foreman and Abatement Supervisor for South Insulation Company, Inc. Then, in 1988 until 1992 he worked for Starr Davis/Aremco, Inc. where he was Project Manager/General Superintendent. There he was responsible for managing insulation projects and was superintendent for Aremco's abatement division. James has been with EME since 1999. He currently serves as Vice President of Estimating and Operations.
Kenneth Grimes- Operations Manager
Bachelor of Science, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University
Kenneth brings over 20 years experience to EME. In 1983 he graduated from NC A&T State University and went to work for South Insulation. He was supervisor over asbestos and lead abatement projects. He also installed insulation for residential and commercial clients. From 1992 to 1999 Kenny worked for North Bro's as a supervisor as well as over asbestos and lead abatement projects. In 1999 he came to work for EME as Project Manager and Supervisor. He currently serves as Operations Manager.
